It is a good quality envelope, good for
mailing 4 X 6 photos. Strong and
lightweight. And, a really bright white!

In my spare time I design greeting cards
using images from my photography --
usually flowers, butterflies, birds, and
other nature subjects. Because my cards
get mailed in Japan as well as in the USA,
I had to find an envelope size that was
compatible with Japanese postal
regulations. This size envelope is one of
several sizes that the Japanese postal
services recognizes as "standard size" and
they can be mailed for regular postal
rates. Envelopes that are 5.25" by 7.25"
that I previously used with 5x7 cards are
treated as "non-standard" envelopes and
incur a postal surcharge of about and
additional 75%. I also use many of these
envelopes for cards mailed in the USA
because many people (including my wife)
prefer the aprox 4x6 cards to the 5x7
cards.

Printed on both sides of envelope to
make a "seed packet" to accompany
crafted flowers to sell at fair. Looked
great! Perfect size!

We searched online for a vendor who had
a catalog-style envelope to send out a
set of 9 4 x 6 postcards. The only place
I could find that had anything close was
envelopes.com. Better still, their
printing services were highly
affordable. We selected the kraft
colored version and had it printed 2/c
1/s and we are thrilled with the result.
It's a real attention getter in the mail.
