Shipping Policy

There are three types of orders available at Envelopes.com: Plain Orders, Printed Orders and Sample Orders

Plain Orders:

95% of plain orders ship the same or next business day. We do not guarantee same day shipping, but we try very hard!

In the event that an item is backordered, you will be notified and presented with the best options to proceed with the order.

Orders are processed Monday-Friday, 9AM to 4PM EST. Orders placed outside of these hours will not be processed until the next business day. Orders placed after 5:00pm ET on Friday, will be processed on Monday, except in the event of a Holiday in which the fulfillment center is closed. Envelopes.com facilities are closed on weekends.

If your order has been processed for shipping, or has shipped, we can not cancel your order. You can refuse the delivery, and your order will be subject to our return policy.

In the event there is a credit card authorization issue, the order will be put on hold and you will be notified immediately.

Printed Envelopes:

After you have approved your proof (at customers request) and production is complete, shipping transit time will take from 5-7 business days depending on what level of Shipping Service you have selected. Once your proof is approved (at customers request), total processing, production and delivery time for printed orders can be as fast as 5 business days or as long as 11 business days depending on your production time, shipping method, and delivery location.

Please note that all sales for printed or custom orders are considered final. Should you receive an item that is damaged, misprinted, or exhibits any defects, we kindly ask you to reach out to us within 14 business days from the delivery date.

Requests made beyond this timeframe will be subject to review. Reprint requests may take up to 24-48 hours for assessment, and it is essential to provide physical images for a thorough evaluation of the received items.

We strongly advise against discarding or throwing away your order, as there may be a need for item return in certain cases. It is crucial to retain the items, as disposing of them will void your reprint request.

Cancellation Policy for Custom Orders:

Please note that after your plain, printed, or custom order has begun processing or production, it cannot be modified or cancelled. We thank you for your understanding.

Sample Orders:

Sample Orders are processed and mailed via the US Postal Service with 1st Class Postage within 3-5 business days. They do not have a tracking number.

In the event a Sample Order is deemed to exceed the US Postal Service 1st Class Mail guidelines you will be contacted by customer service regarding the fee for an alternate shipping method.

Shipping Methods:

Envelopes.com uses a range of carriers for each shipping option. We choose the most appropriate delivery method for your ship to address. Envelopes.com will choose a preferred carrier after your order has been placed.

USPS Priority Mail: Your order will be delivered within 1-3 business days after the order leaves an Envelopes.com facility, not counting the ship date and not including Sunday, or USPS Holidays.
Package arrives before end of day along with your normal mail delivery Monday through Saturday.

Standard (Up to 7 days): Your order will be delivered within 7 business days after the order leaves an Envelopes.com facility, not counting the ship date and not including Saturday and Sunday, or Carrier Holidays.
Package arrives before end of day. We ship from multiple locations.

Premium (2 - 3 Days): Your order will be delivered 2-3 business days after the order leaves Envelopes.com, not counting the ship date and not including Saturday and Sunday, or Carrier Holidays. Package usually arrives by end of day.

Next Day (1 Day): Your order will be delivered 1 business day after the order leaves Envelopes.com, not counting the ship date and not including Saturday and Sunday, or Carrier Holidays. Package usually arrives before end of day.

Next Day AM (1 day): Your order will be delivered the next business day by 12pm, after the order leaves Envelopes.com, not counting the ship date and not including
Saturday and Sunday, or Carrier Holidays. Package usually arrives before end of day

If you would like to place a UPS or FedEx shipping charge that is over $25.00 on your own UPS or FedEx account, you can supply the number in the comments box on the checkout page.
We do not accept customers' account for sample orders. The shipping charge will show on your order confirmation, but we will remove the shipping cost before charging your credit card.

All orders shipped to a NY address will be charged the appropriate state sales tax.

Returns & Exchanges
Plain Product Returns:

We welcome returns of non-customized products within 14 days of receipt. Refunds, minus shipping and any applicable restocking fees, will be issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of return receipt. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable except in cases of our error. Returns must be in sellable condition, including both the outer and inner cartons.

Sample Orders:

Please note that sample orders are not eligible for returns or refunds.

International Returns:

Customers outside of the U.S. should contact Customer Service before returning items.

Shipping Your Return:

You may use any trackable shipping method (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) to ensure the safe arrival of your return to Envelopes.com.

Refused Shipments:

If a shipment is refused, the cost of the outbound and return shipping will be deducted from any credit due, along with any applicable restocking fees.

Restocking Fee:

A 25% restocking fee fee applies to all returns, which can be waived if a replacement order is placed.

Partial Returns:

Refunds for partial returns will be processed for the items returned, less the restocking fee.

Custom Orders:

Please note that custom-made products are uniquely tailored to your specifications, and as such, we are unable to accept returns for these items.

Variation in Stocks, Colors, and Weights At Envelopes.com, we offer a wide range of material options for our products, including various paper stocks and colors. It's important to note that stocks weights and colors can vary across different options. While we strive to maintain consistency in our products, slight variations may occur due to factors such as manufacturing processes and supplier availability.

Specific Requirements for Custom Orders When placing custom orders, customers are encouraged to provide as many details as possible regarding their preferences for colors, materials, and any other specifications. This helps us ensure that the final product aligns with the customer's expectations. Failure to provide specific requirements may result in variations in color or weight that are beyond our control.

Review and Approval of Samples Customers who receive samples of our products are responsible for reviewing and approving them before placing their orders. By approving the samples, customers acknowledge that they have reviewed the quality, colors, and materials of the products and are satisfied with them. Customers are also encouraged to provide images or descriptions of any specific features they would like to replicate in their final order.

Limitations of Liability While we make every effort to fulfill orders according to customer specifications, we cannot be held responsible for slight variations in color or weight if specific requirements were not provided with the order. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their orders meet their desired specifications, and we recommend providing detailed instructions to avoid any discrepancies.

Non-Cancellation Policy

Please be aware that once your plain, printed, or custom order has entered processing or production, it cannot be altered or cancelled. Your understanding and patience are greatly appreciated.

Exchanges:

We process exchanges for items of the same quantity or value without a restocking fee. Customers are responsible for the return shipments of the original items. For exchanges involving items of different values, appropriate adjustments will be made to the refund or additional charges.

Product Samples

Samples are available for a select group of products to help you decide what style, size and color meets your needs.

How do I order samples?
Click the link "Order a Sample" button located on the product page, under the orange Add to Cart button. There is a minimum order request of $7 on our site currently. If you are not purchasing samples along with other products, you can call in to our customer service team and request samples directly.

If the item(s) you are interested in seeing are sold in increments of 25 or more and are not in the close out section of the site, paper samples are available for color and quality.

You will be able to add up to 5 free color samples.

If the item(s) are in the custom area, the only way to determine price, lead time and / or to request a sample is to go to the "Quote Request" section and provide us with the specific details of what you are interested in.

Is there a shipping charge for samples?
For Domestic Shipping in the United States. You will be charged a $3.25 fee for postage, packaging and handling.  This does not include shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or Canda. Customers will be responsible for all shipping including duties, taxes, insurance and brokerage fees if shipping to those locations.

How can I get my samples fast?
Shipping is via USPS is pre-selected by default at checkout, but you may choose to upgrade the shipping service for the cost displayed next to each or you may use your own UPS or FedEx account by inputting your account number and preferred service level in the Shipping and Order Comments box at the checkout.

Will all my samples come together?
If you order more than one sample, it is possible that the order will be sent from multiple locations and will arrive separately and possibly at different times. If you placed an order for product and samples, your samples will arrive separately via USPS First Class Mail.

Can I track my samples?
Standard sample orders that are sent via USPS First Class Mail do not have a tracking number.

Can I place more than one order for samples?
Yes, knock yourself out!
