Always find the perfect product for your needs!

Founded in 1971 as Action Envelope, Envelopes.com began as a Queens, New York printing company serving approximately 100 local customers. Today, it is a leading ecommerce destination serving millions of consumers and businesses nationwide.
For more than 55 years, our focus has remained the same: helping every customer find the right product for their unique needs. We combine one of the largest in-stock selections of envelope sizes, styles and colors with custom printing, dependable service and fast fulfillment.
Following founder Ken Newman’s sudden passing in 1993, his wife, Sharon Newman, took over the company while raising their three children. At a time when few women owned businesses within the envelope industry, Sharon carried the company forward and preserved the opportunity for the next generation to become involved.
Her son, Seth Newman, officially joined the company in 1998 and helped lead its transition into ecommerce. The company launched its first website soon afterward and expanded from serving a local New York clientele to customers across the country.
In 2009, the company acquired the Envelopes.com domain and officially transitioned from Action Envelope to Envelopes.com in 2010. Since then, the business has continued to grow through product expansion, technology, custom printing capabilities and an ongoing commitment to putting customer needs first.
